President, Texas Business Leadership Council

Justin Yancy has been serving as the President of the Texas Business Leadership Council (TBLC) since 2001. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the TBLC's mission, including membership engagement, policy development, and general operations. Yancy also holds the position of Executive Director for the Foundation for a Globally Competitive Texas. His background in public service is notable, having worked in the administrations of both Governors George W. Bush and Rick Perry. From 1995 to 2001, Yancy held the position of Director of International Protocol for the governor and Texas secretary of state. His experience in policy analysis is evident from his work during the 77th legislative session, where he served in the governor's Budget and Policy Office. Yancy's extensive experience in both public policy and business leadership makes him a valuable asset to the TBLC and Texas's business community.
