President & CEO, Fort Bend Chamber

Keri Curtis Schmidt is the President & CEO of the Fort Bend Chamber, the largest single-county chamber in the Greater Houston region. Under her leadership, the chamber has earned the U.S. Chamber's 5-Star Accreditation three times since 2014. Schmidt holds the Certified Chamber Executive designation from ACCE and serves on the boards of the Texas Association of Business and Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives. Her diverse background includes over 16 years in banking prior to her chamber leadership, as well as international experience, having been born in Jamaica and educated in Puerto Rico and Iowa. As a 30+ year resident of Fort Bend County, Schmidt brings a wealth of local knowledge and business acumen to her role.
